Safe Handling of Contaminated Pumps
We are equipped to handle and repair the pumps used in toxic applications in the semiconductor industry. Any pump contaminated by hazardous gases or chemicals is cleaned in our detoxification process.

Once pumps have been neutralized, they are then torn apart and washed in a hot rotating washer to remove all grease, pump fluids, and neutralized gases and chemicals. It is then cleaned in our specially designed cleaning area. The neutralizing process is fast and thorough.

ALL RESIDUAL PUMP FLUID AND CHEMICALS ARE DISPOSED OF ACCORDING TO E.P.A REGULATIONS.

When this process is completed, the pump is sent through our assembly procedure.

Benefits of Color Codes
By using color codes a company can help to eliminate frequent and costly mistakes and possible down time, especially for companies that use many pumps. Color codes can help maintenance personnel with several pumps determine what kind of oil or seals are in their pump or what type of oil and seals any particular pump is set up for.

(Thus eliminating accidentally installing a hydrocarbon pump where a pipe prepped pump should be.)

The purpose is to help assure that maintenance personnel or technicians do not put the wrong oil in their pump. This could be costly in a case where a technician puts hydrocarbon oil in a pump that should have Fomblin oil or maintenance technician puts a pump with Viton(r) seals in a system that should have buna seals.
